[Bug 1213963] Re: HW volume keys are out of sync with volume slider
Thanks for reporting this bug. I couldn't reproduce it because of bug
#1219057, which rendered the volume keys completely useless.
The fix for that bug seems to also fix this one. The volume
increasing/decreasing logic is now actually in indicator-sound (it was
in unity8 before) and I cannot reproduce your issue anymore. Can you
please try it again once my branch (lp:~larsu/unity8/lp1219057) lands?

Title:
HW volume keys are out of sync with volume slider
Status in Sound Menu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
It's not possible to set the indicator volume to either 0 or 100%
using the HW keys on a Galaxy Nexus. Seems like the HW volume changes
increase or decrease the volume by 10% or so, which means if the
indicator is at 7% it will stay that way as it cannot go to -3. Same
for 100% case.
