Title:
  X-Ubuntu-Single-Instance=true doesn't work

Status in Upstart Application Launcher:
  Fix Committed
Status in “upstart-app-launch” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Hi,

I tried latest upstart-app-launch with fixed .desktop file parsing with an older music-app which works with --file=file://xyz and --file=xyz; I recommend:
  https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-touch-coreapps-drivers/+archive/daily/+files/music-app_0.6bzr117saucy0_all.deb

then I added X-Ubuntu-Single-Instance=false to its desktop file and it
  still behaved as expected.

With X-Ubuntu-Single-Instance=true however, it didn't work: the first
music file opens fine, the second one stops music playback relatively
quickly but music app takes a while to disappear from running app
list, and music app doesn't actually open with the file unless I
  launch it a second time.

  Cheers,
