[Bug 1232588] Re: Various active app regressions with Mir; --desktop_file_hint still seems required for Mir
So the launching apps part is actually an unity-mir bug (confirmed by

Bug description:
Hi,
I've switched my phone to Mir, but this breaks many things in the media playback experience:
* activation of music-app and mediaplayer-app from music and video scopes don't work anymore; the attached branch fixes this, but is probably wrong
* volume up/down doens't work anymore (works with SF)
* music-app is whitelisted to keep playing when put in the background, but that too breaks when switching to Mir
The attached branch readds the --desktop_file_hints args in application-legacy.conf (ignoring the SF test), and makes activation work again.
platform-api still seems to require this in both cases (SF and Mir),
but I guess work is pending to fix this?
Thanks,
