[Bug 1233897] Re: [Touch] Time truncated from "9:00 PM" to "9 PM", intended?

I am befuddled that you could think this was part of the design. That
would result in every other indicator jiggling to the right, and back
again, every hour!

My 2010 wireframe of the PC clock menu, and my 2013 wireframe of the
phone clock menu, do vary in how they present on-the-hour alarms and
calendar events inside the menu. But even if they were harmonized in
favor of the phone format, that wouldn't affect the time presentation in
the status bar.

** Description changed:

Finding that I get a truncated date on the hour, e.g. 9 PM instead of
- 9:00 PM , will attach a screenie. This is possibly a design choice?
- Also Charles this may belong to the front-end, haven't dug into via
- dbus.
+ 9:00 PM.
+
+ <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/TimeAndDate#Indicator>: "In the clock
+ indicator, the current time should be displayed in hours and minutes..."

** Summary changed:

- [Touch] Time truncated from "9:00 PM" to "9 PM", intended?
+ [Touch] Time truncated from "9:00 PM" to "9 PM"

** Changed in: indicator-datetime
       Status: Confirmed => Triaged
