Title:
Wi-Fi menu shows incorrect state after flashing
Status in Network Menu:
Fix Committed
Status in “indicator-network” package in Ubuntu:
In Progress
Bug description:
The network menu Wi-Fi toggle switch has shown an incorrect state
after flashing ( cdimage-touch ) for a couple of days now.
I've tested 20130903 on both maguro and mako and both show Wi-Fi as
disabled after flashing even though the value of WirelessEnabled
returned from NM is true. On both devices however, networks are show
in the menu even though the value of the switch is off.
I've tried rebooting both devices several time, and this seems to make
no difference. Connecting to a network seems to trigger the switch
to all of a sudden show the correct state.
Here are a couple of relevant package versions:
indicator-network: 0.5.0+13.10.20130829-0ubuntu1
network-manager: 0.9.8.0-0ubuntu19
unity8: 7.81.3+13.10.20130903.1-0ubuntu1
