[Bug 1274246] Re: Active Wifi AP is not shown as active

I am seeing this on my home network which has two separate aps with
different names. The AP is connected but no networks show as selected in
the dropdown or the wifi settings page.

Title:
Active Wifi AP is not shown as active

Status in Network Menu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Mako running 151

The environment has a number of APs with the same name and roaming enabled. The name of the active AP is shown in the list but without a checkmark.
I suspect the duplicate removal code is removing the active AP since it is checking signal strength and not whether it is active.
