  Master volume control doesn't work

Status in The Sound Menu:
  New

Bug description:
  The master volume control menu in the upper right corner does not seem
  to affect volume. Perhaps it's only affecting the first sound source,
  which is not always the active one. Going into the Sound menu and
  changing the volume on the particular source in use does actually
  work.
