    In order to make everybody happy in this thread, how about
    implementing your software indicator-style?

    A good example is tomboy-indicator, it shows a recent list in its
    indicator menu..

    Actually, pastie uses the application indicators applet, if that's

Are you planning to fix the icon ? its not yet monochrome as i can see...
Yes, I'm planning to do that, but in the meanwhile you can put a monochrome icon in ~/.pastie/ (as pastie.svg).
