Re: Hi guys , just thinking of improving unity
Looking through those, they would be better suited to a plugin framework.
There are a lot of features that could be implemented for power users, but
that's not the focus of Ubuntu.
I believe there are plans for (or talks on) adding a plugin framework. This
would be a better way to add functionality like this since it not only
means it need not be enabled by default, but allows the work to be
crowd-sourced, making it easier on Canonical to make Unity itself a better,
more stable platform.
