Seriously; we're not there. Coming closer? Certainly. Luckily, everyone is focusing on the end of the Mayan calendar and the death of the desktop. So, if we can keep identifying issues and fixing them...
It's like Rudyard Kipling famously said: "If you can keep your desktop while all around you are loosing theirs, then you've probably switched to Ubuntu" :)
