Recent Files timeout in HUD

Is there quite a short timeout for the Recent Files list in the Dash
Home?  For me it seems that it only shows files used in the last few
hours which is much too short a timeout for me.  For example when I
start up in the morning it shows none of yesterday's files.  The
Recent Apps section does not appear to have such a short timeout.
