Hi, to edit the Unity source code, I have to know Bazaar, C, C++, GTK+, OpenGL, Compiz and NUX. I learned Bazaar from http://doc.bazaar.canonical.com/bzr.2.5/en/user-guide/index.html I learned C and C++ from http://ftacademy.org/courses/modules/7 I have a GTK+ and an OpenGL book, but I can't find a Compiz nor a NUX book. How did you learn Compiz and NUX not to use them, but to edit them? Did you learn them from reading their source codes?
compiz and nux are both open source projects, and are unlikely to have books about them in the near future.
Yes, get the source and read it :-)There are development mailing lists for these projects, or just ask questions here. The primary developers are normally around on #ubuntu-unity on freenode as well.
