[Bug 658860] [NEW] installer usb fails if other removable drive present
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
1. It should be well known that the create-usb boot disk method does not
work for 10.10 without first removing the ui from a line in
syslinux.cfg
(I found that in a forum post)
2. After I did that, it still did not work, there were errors about init not working.
I then figured out that it was likely due to the fact that I have an SD
card, and a USB drive on my computer.
I then shutdown the computer and removed the SD card, and UNR came right
up.
I have a dell mini 9, was using an 8gb sd card to backup my 4gb harddrive and hold the ISO image, and use the 2gb usb drive to install.
(also note, there were all kinds of errors about the installer running
out of diskspace, but it worked)
** Affects: usb-creator
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
