wow...  strange I didn't run into this earlier, but consistent with the
fact that I see this problem with 8.0.14 too

hi, when I reply to the message below, my entire inbox is quoted in the reply.
 that's over 15Mb.  this seems to happen consistently in different emacs
sessions.  I don't see anything wrong with this message, but perhaps you will...
 cvs emacs 23.1.50, using the latest trunk.  thanks...  E
