[Bug 499532] Re: Clarify saving of attachments

 

Hmm.  We have that in VM actually.  When I save an attachment, I get a
MIME part like the one below.  I can open it with the click of a
button, when I need to.

Perhaps this isn't made clear in the documentation.  Perhaps it needs
some customization as well.  I will check that.

One interesting capability of GNUS is to save an attachment and
substituting it by the mail a reference to where you have saved it.  If
one is consistent as to where things are saved (I try to be) and you do
not move things around, then the attachment can be seamlessly recovered
from the email where it came in the first place.
