[Bug 494521] Re: vm-included-mime-types-list not functional

Dear Uday,

I am now running version 8.1.0-beta of VM. But the behavior of reply with
respect to attachments is still not optimal. I didn't check for myself the
behavior you write below, but there is still a problem: I save a copy of each
outgoing message (using FCC:) and the attachments are in those stored
messages, which does make the file size quite large. It would be nice if
there is an option to omit attachments in replies and in FCC files.

Thanks,
Dan

You received this bug notification because you are a member of VM
development team, which is the registrant for VM.

Status in VM (View Mail) for Emacs: Fix Released

Bug description:
It seems this variable can be set so that replies do not include large attachments, such as pdf files. But this does not appear in any .el file other than vm-vars.el, so is clearly not implemented.

I am running 8.0.13
