I don't know if we have any contributors which can properly review these changes. I try to do a light review by looking over the changes when I sync from upstream revisions, but I'm no expert on this either.

Still, some review is probably better than none. :)

And before I forget it again: someone should take a look in the debian/patches/ directory to see whether we want to pick up any of the patches and apply them to trunk. Among others, it looks like it contains the patch from bug 1279679.
