I am at a loss. I have now pushed a revision that adds lots of logging output. 
When I perform these steps:

– Open the options window from a flag
– Change some values
– Click the save button
– Save the profile as "test"
– (now the dropdown shows "test")
– close the options window
– re-open it (the dropdown shows "test")
– Click the save button
– select profile "test"
– click delete
– (the dropdown now shows "")
– close the save dialog
– open the dropdown (still showing "")
– close the options window
– re-open it (the dropdown shows "")

I attached the log output I received to the bug. Please post the log output you receive so we can compare…
