Question about Fallback Testing (Case ID xpr-009)
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA256
I am uncertain about my fallback testing results. When I attempted to
reinstall the current proprietary driver, it failed and instructed me
to see details in /var/log/jockey.log. The log showed that the reason
for the failure was the non-existence of file nvidia-current.ko. This
is the file that we are instructed to rename in step 3 of the test
case.
When I re-renamed the file to the original name, the installation then
ran, successfully. However, since there were no instructions to name
the file back to the original name, I think this means I should
consider the test a failure. But, I am not sure.
What do you think?
Tim
