Ok, I finally got Lucid installed from the alternate iCD mage, but the
partitioning is different from what it has always been, before. Prior
to now, Lucid partitioner has always automatically used the largest
free space on the disk and created /dev/sda6 for / and /dev/sda7 for
swap. This time, it still refused to use the free space but did allow
me to create /dev/sda4 for /. I think it is using my Karmic swap area
on /dev/sda1.

Whatever. I will start my Xorg driver testing, later today. It has
been one heck of a morning.

Tim
