Re: Call for feedback (last week of testing posted)

I stayed because I wanted to contribute to the overall Ubuntu release
effort and because I was interested in how the nVidia proprietary
drives would perform at each step of the release process. Personally,
I cannot understand why over 90 people signed up for the testing and
less than 10 submitted results, each week (usually far less than 10 -
at least, that is all I could see in the QA tracker).

I liked that there were well defined actions to perform and that the
tests themselves were not continually changing.

I am pretty happy with things the way they were. The one thing I did
not like was the Upgrade Testing. I don't know about everyone else,
but it took far to long to perform. I only did it one time and skipped
it after that.

This was my first test team to participate on, so I think I would
prefer to participate in a few more before I decide to try to lead a
team.

Overall, thank you for the opportunity to participate in this. I have
been working with enterprise UNIX systems longer than most people have
known UNIX exists, but I am a newbie with Linux on PC platform. Being
on this project helped me to learn a lot about Linux, especially
installing, configuring, and partitioning. I hope I was able to help
the Ubuntu community, but I know I have helped myself.
