Re: Easier and Faster Ways of Installing Ubuntu

 

It is possible to install Ubuntu onto a machine on which you are running
linux by following the instructions on this site:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/FromLinux

Basically, the target machine will need an extra linux partition to copy the
files to. Mount the CD, copy them over, and then let grub know you've made
some changes.

I hope this helps with what you're trying to achieve, and also suggest you
look into unetbootin if you are unfamiliar with what that is.
