I'm searching for the right Linux desktop notes software for me (I consider Windows' ATNotes to be perfect and I'm looking for something as close to it as possible), right now Xpad looks very promising, but there are two things which I'm having problem with.

1. I'm wondering if it's possible to hide notes from taskbar.
2. Also, is it possible to hide the window frames for the notes?
