Hi Rainer,

I think i figured  this out!
the problem seems to be in the sync directory ".config". Linux treat folders-with-leading-dot as hidden, that seems to be the issue.

following commands worked in my case(i could see the folder and files in
ES File Explorer):

mkdir ~/Dropbox/config
ln -s ~/.config/xpad/ ~/Dropbox/config/xpad
