1) i tried #1 by deleting ~/.config/xpad , it did not work for me

2) I am using Version: 5.3.0-1  as seen below.

root@kali:~# apt-cache show xpad
Package: xpad
Version: 5.3.0-1
Installed-Size: 426

Pls how do i update to 5.4.
