It is still not clear what exact feature you are looking for.

I'm all happy with people improving Xpad.
However, the feature you are looking for _might_ already be in Xpad.

Would you mind to describe in detail the feature you are intended to
build, which you want to active by a keyboard short-cut?

anymore?
