Sounds like this will be fixed when Thunar has native gvfs support.
Hopefully that is in Lucid.  If not, can this at least be fixed for
Xubuntu simply by adding gvfs-fuse, etc to the Xubuntu installation?  I
think Xubuntu is a great system but we need to iron out problems like
these to keep it user-friendly.
