[Bug 948231] Re: greybird - Resize grips on application windows

 

This is not something that can be defined in the theme in GTK2, it either has to be set globally (as in Oneiric and previous releases done by a patched version of GTK2 in Ubuntu) or per application.
Since Ubuntu decided to revert this change because it caused too many problems there isn't much we can do right now. We will try to promote the various ways of resizing windows in a blog post or something.
Just for your reference: alt+rightclick resizes a window, furthermore you can grab the two top corners of any window easily and last but not least you can resize windows with the keyboard shortcut alt+f1.

(If you install and use Ubuntu's overlay scrollbars you can also use
those to resize the window.)
