[Bug 1337834] Re: Light locker should be disabled for guest sessions by default
As @thad-fisch indicated, this is fixed with Xubuntu 14.10.
You can disable light-locker on login for new users (and the guest user) by removing the auto-start file.
/etc/xdg/autostart/light-locker.desktop
