[Bug 1966794] [NEW] Xubuntu Jammy install without internet results in no Firefox installed

 

Public bug reported:

Testing Xubuntu Jammy daily ISO 28.03.2022 on Dell Optiplex 7040

Following steps were taken

1. Installed Xubuntu with no Internet connection

2. Rebooted - connected ethernet -

3. Opened Software and applied system updates

4. Rebooted

5. Selected from Menu - Web browser - received error

6. selected from Internet men Firefox - no response

7. Opened the terminal and ran Firefox - took a few minutes and Firefox
was then installed
