may I ask you to find out why using
LOG_INFO("UnbalancedForce="<<UnbalancedForce) doesn't work for you? I
have to remove those cerr<< things since I they create so much noise on
the console where I want to see things that are more important for me at
the moment. If you have log4cxx installed, you need to create
~/.yade-*/logging.conf - the doc/logging.conf.sample will set level for
all messages to INFO, so you should see by default what unbalanced force is.

I am a bit pressed to have results before monday, sorry to write in such
a short way.
