Re: YADE web-site
Hi, I appreciate your offer and I am also glad that you are full
ofenergy. At this moment, though, this doesn't seem like the most urgent
need... (You can write regression tests, if you feel like it, integrate
sphinx with epydoc and doxygen and things like that ;-) ) We have most
things like downloads, screenshots at launchpad, and I think it works
quite well, no? If you have some specific needs, of course feel free to
address those here and we will try to solve it.
BTW for the web, what I thought could be done: could be done that
(Remi?):
a proxy (not just redirect) from something like
http://www.yade-dem.org/doxygen to
http://beta.arcig.cz/~eudoxos/yade/doxygen and perhaps the same for
epydoc and sphinx. I was doing similar thinkg for wikia, where a guy
from china couldn't access it, but he could browse
http://beta.arcig.cz/wiki/ just fine. I enabled the http_proxy module
and the config was:
ProxyPass /wiki/ http://yade.wikia.com/
ProxyPassReverse /wiki/ http://yade.wikia.com/
ProxyPass /images.wikia.com/ http://images.wikia.com/
I think this won't work with https, though, since the communication is
encrypted and geo.hmg.inpg.fr cannot fake the beta.arcig.cz webserver.
(Perhaps in the future, yade could be build and the documentation
generated at geo.hmg.inpg.fr itself, but it is not at all necessary.
Just that it would be nice to have those docs on the domain.)
If it's too complicated, just let it be. I am fine with what we have
now :-)
