Coming back to the license thing, two points :

1/ It seems it could be enough to include this in the License text of Yade :
>      "As a special exception, you have permission to link this program
>      with the CGAL library and distribute executables, as long as you
>      follow the requirements of the GNU GPL in regard to all of the
>      software in the executable aside from CGAL."   
2/ It is hard (if not impossible, not sure) to find any precise 
information on the license of Yade in the wiki, appart from the "open 
source" on the front page.
What about adding a section on this. And what to put there, the full 
LICENSE file of Yade?

I think I will do both if you agree.
