It seems that you are trying to run version of yade compiled with system
before upgrade (it was obviously compiled with log4cxx 0.9, whichle the
current on ubuntu is 0.10; maybe you jsut removed that package).
Reocmpile, should be ok then.

Doing a fresh install (r2006), while launching I obtained this:
