I think we can. The problem is definitely in OpenGL.
It is better to use VTK for visualisation of the whole simulation.

Status in Yet Another Dynamic Engine: New

Bug description:
'Segmentation fault' appears when attached script is started and after 15000-20000 iterations.
When I increase particle diameter and I get less particle in simulation, the 'Segmentation fault' does not appear.
Also when I use yade-trunk-cxx instead of yade-trunk this crash also does not occur.
