with scripts/simple-scene.py it indeed works correctly. BTW: what is
that blinking of unselected body? Is it "all bodies that have
interaction with currently selected one"?

But please try with funnel.py.

yade funnel.py
(wait few seconds, click "pause" button)
now shift click on some sphere
type "2+2" in python shell - nothing.
unselect this sphere - still nothing. python shell is blocked. And it remains blocked even after those 8500 iterations.

The only way to exit yade now is Ctrl+\

Status in Yet Another Dynamic Engine: New

Bug description:
Open a 3D view on some small simulation. You can shift click on spheres and move them around with mouse. But then the python shell is blocked, and does not respond to any input. Even after you deselect the body.
