You win the bet, sorry. After a day of debugging, I realized I was returning
a negative tangential stiff, and this was causing the problem with contact
damping. Thxs for suggestions anyway. I see from the mail archive that Janek
had some problems with Nan values (unrelated to my question at this point),
have you fixed them?
