There is now a new yade-stable package.
Try to install it and check.

sudo apt-get intsall yade-stable

yade-0.60 package will be removed from PPA.

Bug description:
  Seems there is a problem in the package but I can't be 100% sure it's
  not a problem on my side. Any idea?
