Hello,Compilation of Yade is the first step for new users, which are moreover probably not so familiar with computer science than you, and probably it still appears quite complicated. So I would recommend to keep things as simple as possible.
In a new user mind framework : it could be thus useful to remove indeed all what concerns the scons way (it will be still in trunk history, as for any change, no ?). At least, if the two still exist, speak about only one in the documentation !
On the other hand, for "existing" users minds, the change from scons to cmake will probably be annoying. But this holds for each piece of development...
JérômePS : in my opinion such things could be discussed on yade-users rather. It concerns each user of Yade, and maybe some will have opinions, more precise than mine !

Hi all, we discussed already with Bruno the removing of scons from the trunk, because cmake works well now. He is, probably, right, that it should be there, while it still works. But I think, that scons-files need to be removed not to confuse users with 2 build-systems. Opinions are welcome. Thanks.
