Maybe I am not understanding the idea completely, but I think
you do not need this additional class for creating clumps template.

I think, you should make it in utils.py, where you can store all parameters of
your template. Then, when you decide to add some clumps in simulation,
you can add it also using the function in utils.py. Just a guess.
