Updates from my side

Dear yade devs,
As I did not talk too much on yade lists recently, this email is mainly
to say hello and share two items of my TODO list with you for info
and/or comments.

* Citation of yade. After the discussion in Grenoble and some more
thinking, I plan the following:
Citation: Smilauer et al. 2015, [titles like before], 2nd edition.
The list of contributors would then be available inside the
documentation. It solves a couple difficulties: many authors are
reluctant to list >10 co-authors when citing something, even the journal
editors don't like that in many cases. "et al." makes things shorter and
life of authors easier; also, from the databases point of view different
authors means different documents, thus I doubt the second edition would
effectively be considered a 2nd edition, instead it would be seen as
brand new. Not a very good thing. With "et al." there is chance to keep
a continuity.
I will of course ask the approval of all co-authors and the editor
(Vaclav) before pushing this online.

* Ning Guo sent his DEMxFEM code to me for pushing it to trunk. The
package is very nicely prepared and self-contained, with documentation
and example scripts. I want to thank Ning for this, and you can expect
to see the code very soon. As soon as I find a moment to organize the
new folders in trunk.

* Lastly a short note. I received a citation notification today in
relation with [2] by Wang Xiaoliang, and I was glad to read this:
"Acknowledgements
[...] The authors want to thank all the people on Yade Launchpad for
helpful discussion [...]"

* There has been quite a lot of papers based on yade published recently,
and not yet mentioned in the references page. I shall make a global
scanning and update this soon. Before that, please add at least you own
papers to the *.bib files. And of course you are welcome if you include
not only yours. One method to spot those papers is via this page:

Best regards

Bruno
