Dear YADE users and developers, 

You are all invited to participate in the second Yet Another Discrete Element workshop: Discrete-based modeling of multi-scale coupled problems , that will take place in Aix-en-Provence (France), on April 26-27, 2018 : [ https://2ndyadeworkshop.sciencesconf.org/ | https://2ndyadeworkshop.sciencesconf.org/ ] 

This workshop will welcome a wide variety of DEM-related discussions: from "DEM mechanical analysis of granular materials", to "Fluid-solid coupling in DEM", including "continuous numerical methods coupled with DEM", and technical discussions regarding "High-performance computing in DEM". 
Oral presentation of your research in this field requires submitting a 1-2 pages abstract before January 21, 2018, following the instructions at [ https://2ndyadeworkshop.sciencesconf.org/resource/page/id/1 | https://2ndyadeworkshop.sciencesconf.org/resource/page/id/1 ] . 

Registration to the workshop will be free of charge, including lunches and dinner (plus accommodation in case your institution belongs to the GdRI GeoMech network).
