Re: [Yade-users] [Question #674958]: Yade installation from ubunto 18.04.1

Hi there,
We were considering it recently with Rémi but I was unsure if it was out-of-box or not, then we postponed (Rémi is no longer at 3SR, thanksfully he did not disapear completely but he may be less available).
@Rémi, can you please set the repo? others can then test and fix.

On another note, isn't the 16.04 package missing a dependency on python-pyqt5.qtwebkit since it has to be installed manually on the top of yadedaily on fresh install? I can try and add it to [1] if you, Anton, agree - best way for me to learn.
Cheers
Bruno

@Remi, would it be possible for you to add 18.04 repo for yadedaily?
It should work out-of-box.

Anton

Robert Caulk proposed the following answer:
yadedaily is not packaged yet, but yade is:

sudo apt-get install yade

should work on Ubuntu 18.04.
