Re: Modifying the geometry of the wall?
Hi,
Thanks for confirming this.
I tried getting the pdf, but I can't access it. I would be grateful if you
send me that document.
Also, a part of my future problem is to flow fluid at different pressure
gradients through the desired geometry. I read your conference paper on a
similar issue but in 1D where you coupled YADE and OpenFOAM. I am not very
good at coding and this shall be my first time using LINUX. So can you just
describe to me how I can the effort be reduced in coding this stuff and if
there is an easier escape route now?
Thanks

Hi, Ripudaman:
According to your description, this model should be easily be modeled by
YADE, you can look at one of my previous publication:
Feng Chen, Eric. C. Drumm, Georges Guiochon, 3D DEM Analysis Of Graded Rock
Fill Sinkhole Repair: Particle Size Effects On The Probability Of Stability,
2009 Transportation Research Board Conference
I can email you a pdf if you cannot find it.

Subject: [Yade-users] Modifying the geometry of the wall?
Hi,
I am working on a specific project and I need to know if I can make a hole
of specific dimensions at the bottom of a box such that grains (spheres) can
flow out under the application of stresses etc?
I can proceed with YADE only if this is possible. Thank you.
