Hi Luc !
Have you experienced this problem only when loading an xml file? can you
generate a new scene or not ?
Try to run yade silently from a command line, and see if it works.
I think it's your Graphic card "Ati Radeon" that can't launch Yade
graphical window because "fglrx" the driver component needed for Ati
cards is not properly installed. Check for it in /usr/X11/xorg.conf
If it's the case, You can find help for Ati card installation in the
officiel Ubuntu website or you can try to install "Envyng" packages: it
is a graphical tool in which you can select and install the driver for
your graphical card.
