Yade doesn't use MPI but OpenMP.

There are no instructions for OpenSUSE, but you should be able to find
corresponding packages easily and install them. They are checked for
before compilation starts. The 'features' options enables/disables
optional components (see scons -h).

If you have list of packages for OpenSUSE, you will be the most welcome
to put it on the wiki for other people.
