Yes, if you use "clumps" of spheres : spheres bounded together, leading
to a "new" body whose shape is made of assembly of spheres. I never used
it but it should be in Yade.

No limit, except the one of your patience, linked with your PC power...
is yade coupled with CFD software (such as
fluent)?
Not "by default", but probably some users do it. Give a look at
