Compilation

Hello !

I work with Jiao Liqing on the application of DEM to the study of the
deformation of continents. I have tried to install and compile Yade on my
computer, but to no avail so far. I use Macs on which Ubuntu is installed
through VirtualBox. I have followed the instruction given on the wiki page,
especially those concerning the dependencies. I have configured scons as
simply as possible, so as to put Yade within /home/gaudemer/YADE. The
compilation takes some time (at home, I have only an "old" MacBook Pro Core 2
Duo) and ends by telling me the following :

(many lines skipped here)...
⇒ /home/gaudemer/YADE/lib/yade-0.50/lib/libcore.so
> /home/gaudemer/build-0.50/plugins1.cpp
C /home/gaudemer/build-0.50/plugins1.cpp
{standard input}: Assembler messages:
{standard input}:2242: Warning: end of file not at end of a line; newline
inserted
g++: Internal error: Killed (program cc1plus)
Please submit a full bug report.
See <file:///usr/share/doc/gcc-4.4/README.Bugs> for instructions.
scons: *** [/home/gaudemer/build-0.50/plugins1.os] Error 1
scons: building terminated because of errors.

I am at a loss to decide what to do and I would greatly appreciate any help !
It happens however that I can run yade-0.50 with a script, although it crashes
rather quickly.

Thanks in advance, Yves
