Yes, frame moving with table. Intuitively, I would think you have to define post-impact velocity in this moving frame as well.
3.19 is the velocity in absolute coordinates. In the moving frame it gives 3.19-0.81=2.38, no?
Extra energy is expected I guess, since the table is impacting the sphere.
