time step determination in PFC can be different, than in Yade, i dont know.
but i know the time step width, that is stable in PFC (2e-7 s). i can set the same time step in yade, but it is unstable.
GSTS in yade tells me, that the time step should be about 2e-9 s for a stable calculation.
